Sedicicorto filmfest to host ‘The Visit’

Iranian short ‘The Visit’ is slated to vie at the Sedicicorto International Film Festival in Italy.

The short directed by Azadeh Mousavi the film will be screened at the 2020 edition of the event.

“A young girl and her mother are on their way to visiting the father in jail,” a synopsis for the film reads.

The film has previously attended the Clermont-Ferrand International Short Film Festival in France and the Palm Springs International Film Festival in the US.

Launched in 2004, the Sedicicorto is held every year in October in the Italian comune of Forlì.

The event aims at offering visibility to young authors and presenting an opportunity of meeting and exchanging among film industry professionals.

The 17th edition of the event is slated for October 2-11, 2020.
